Welcoming our New CEO

The team at Playgroup Australia are delighted to welcome our new CEO, Verity Hawkins.

Verity brings to the role years of a strong leadership history working with nationally federated organisations in the community sector, and leading strategic change. Verity is passionate about the role of playgroups in early childhood development and will be leading transformational work for the Playgroup movement, drawing on the skills and passion of staff, members and partnerships for important collaboration projects across the sector.

We look forward to engaging Verity across the Playgroup federation, and the sector over the coming months, and invite you to reach out and join us in helping her feel welcome in her new role.
